Horses are large yet delicate animals with acute senses meant to alert them of danger or threatening situations. They live in harmony with their wild surroundings while their survival instinct drives their daily activities. The balance of life and death is delicate, they thread lightly.

Larger version of Little Wild, a herd of wild horses galloping on the high desert of the Steens Mountain Wilderness. Isabelle's works are inspired by the cave paintings of our early ancestors. The first artists documented their existence employing color, texture and form. Using nature's most basic available elements, the animals that lived in harmony with them, became their subjects and muses.
