Among my favorite media are charcoal and ink. I love the unexpected fluidity that ink brings, and the ephemeral quality that lends itself to charcoal. Sometimes, blending the two provides fascinating results, and other times, singularity using each element in a piece brings out polarities of strong grounding forces and delicate vulnerabilities.
